Backstory -
Born in Limbo, the plane of total chaos, within a Gythzerai monastery. He never quite fitted in though, being far more a studious free spirit, excentric and strange. He was always intrigued by the strangeness of the biology of aberrations, which lead him to butting heads with both his parents and the leaders of his monastery. Eventually he stole some arcane books and fled.
He then travelled the planes, going from Limbo to the city of doors, to the plane of water, to the city of brass, the nine hells, etc. Eventually landing in the world of Greyhawk, he ended up in the city of Saltmarsh.
He got there in his own cart being pulled by his ox, Pecorino, with his insectoid familiar, Comté and his human apprentice Ellie. They then settled in the town square where he'd do magic shows for money in order to fund his teachings and personal research.
His goal was to, through his research, develop his own species of creature! Just like the great wizards of yore. The furthest he got was modifying his familiar and start work on a Slaad's body, turning it into a sort of frankenstein's monster.
