Hello ~

My name is Alexandre Peduti Halah, friends call me Alex, - Brazillian artist, illustrator, animator, character/creature designer. I live in Ribeirão Preto, a city in the state of São Paulo, where I was born and raised.

I like to describe my work as versatile, it's always growing and changing as I experiment more and more with different approaches. Currently I'm focusing greatly on vibrant and expressive digital paintings, with a focus on my favourite subjects those being the fantasy genre, fun and unique character/creature design and expressive visual storytelling.

The types of projects I like the most are the ones where I'm able to really experiment and explore, where I have the freedom to have my individual visual style shine. When i get to have a back and forth conversation with the client, who ideally has come for me for my sense of design.

Art, for me, has always been a crucial pillar in my life, throughout my childhood I've filled more sketchbooks and stacks of printer paper than I can count, dreaming that maybe one day I could make a living with my art. Once I graduated high school I decided to chase that dream, I attended college in the US, at the Maryland Institute College of the Arts (MICA), where I majored in Animation, graduating in 2022.

So far I've worked mostly with small illustration commissions online and freelance work for online projects like my contributions to the Pactless Patrons kickstarter project and Nine Heavens Press books.
